This South Korean camouflage pattern was inspired by the US Marine Corps’ M1942 Frogskin. Initially introduced in the 1960s, the pattern was worn by South Korean special forces and marines until the mid-1970s.
Uniforms of this pattern and several variations thereof can sometimes be seen with US advisors during the Vietnam War. South Korean troops deployed to Vietnam also wore this pattern.
